Miss C was one of the clients who did their first session in the old studio. We’ve since moved, and continuously update our decor, so I was EXTRA excited for her to do a session!
When you come in for your first session, it’s so normal to feel anxious. You’re getting naked for someone you probably haven’t met IRL, to take photos no less- so the nerves are to be expected! Of course, most of our clients relax once they see the first couple of shots on the back of the camera.
However, that relaxation that happens is nothing compared to the feeling of doing a second, or even third session! Miss C has also attended both our group shoots, so we’re pretty well-aquatinted. She is always doing new makeup looks so I figured she was the perfect person to do a look like this! She looks like an actual fairy, and I literally will never ever not be obsessing over these photos. Can you blame me?!
If you have done a session with us and met our makeup artist, Shae, then you know I’m a glitter freak. The more, the better! Even if it means that our living room permanently has a layer of glitter when we’re not doing sessions.
Shae is such an incredible artist and always gets anxious when I ask her to do stuff like this, but I promise y’all there is not anything that girl can’t do with makeup!
Miss C posted photos of these crowns before her shoot, and I informed her that she BETTER bring those to her session! My clients come up with the most creative things, and I love using different colors to bring out different vibes! We are all such complex humans, so why should any boudoir session be boring?!
Miss C was one of the first clients to fall in love with our BRAND NEW acrylic album. Not only that, but she wanted ALL her photos in it! When I say this is the thickest album I’ve ordered yet, I mean it. It gave me anxiety just handling it before giving it to her since it was so beautiful!

Have you ever considered doing a boudoir session? A common misconception about it is that you HAVE to have amazing confidence before doing a session. I can tell you that that 100% is NOT the case! My clients are regular people just like you and me. If you feel like you don’t have the body to do a boudoir session, remember that you’ve only ever seen yourself in the mirror and photos taken of you. During your session I will guide you into every single pose and tell you exactly what to do! I promise it’s not as scary as it seems, beautiful reader.
