It Doesn't Have To Be Lingerie | Non-Lingerie Wardrobe Options for a Boudoir Session | Iowa Boudoir Photographer

Wardrobe is always the biggest dilemma it seems! This is my favorite part about planning sessions.

For most of my sessions, I've been snagging complimentary items from Lace & Beyond Boutique for my clients to wear for the session and take home! Carly always finds the perfect item and carries so many plus size pieces! I love finding new ways to spoil my Boudie Babes!

Sometimes, lingerie isn't your cup of tea. That's okay! It doesn't have to be lingerie! 

For my last session, we picked up some cute high waisted panties and cute crop tops from Ross here in town! It was also a fun bonding experience before our session. 

I recently had the pleasure of getting together with some good friends of mine, the wonderful ladies of Wild Soul Weddings, a company I proudly second shoot for. LaRae's dress was perfect for some more risqué images. Somewhere in between portraits and boudoir. Her red lipstick + black and white polka dot dress gave such a romantic pin-up vibe!

Boudoir has so many definitions. It can be a wet t-shirt and some boy shorts, crop top and high waisted undies, jeans unbuttoned or even tasteful fine-art nudes! There's SO many options, for every kind of person. 

Y'all know me. I don't take much convincing to strip down a bit! I ditched the shirt I was wearing and rocked it in a floor-length skirt and my jean vest!

These photos were taken at my friend's private farm that my friend let's me use! This is a fantastic option for outside boudoir if you're afraid of other's seeing you.
