WOW y’all, it has been one hot minute since I’ve dropped a blog! I’ve been Lowkey struggling to get blogs out as sometimes I feel like I almost need to post an apology for getting behind on blogs. But that’s dumb thinking, so you won’t find an apology like that here. Naw, you’ll find a little life update and get an inside look into what we’ve been up to during my break from blogging!
A couple of weeks ago I had my appendix and umbilical hernia removed in emergency surgery. While all that was going on, it was also our oldest kiddo’s first week of school and I did NOT want to miss it for the world. So much so that I tried convincing Kasie to NOT take me to the ER- which obviously didn’t go the way My stubborn ass had planned. While I was in the hospital, Kasie was taking care of our kiddos when he got news of a family member passing. If I’m being honest, the hardest part about the entire situation was having to be apart. I’m thankful for every moment I had with him during my 24 hour hospital stay, and hated not being able to be at home with my family. The recovery was not the greatest, but as I type this I am feeling almost 100% back to the same Lexy we all know and love!
During this time, BOTH Kasie and I were able to step away from the business and let our Assistant and Social Media Manager take the reins. I am seriously so thankful for the support of our team. Since then we’ve also taken group headshots to update our Meet the Team webpage!
I’m also so incredibly thankful for our amazingly patient our clients have been with everything happening and having galleries as well as print orders pushed back. No one can convince me that we DON’T have the best clients, that is one thing for sure!
Speaking of those amazing clients…. I thought I would use this opportunity to show you, dedicated reader, some of the amazing clients I mentioned have been DYING for their blogs to be released!
